| The 8mm Bond Knitting machines include the Bond Classic, ISM, USM, and the newest addition - the EZ Knittr.
As the EZ Knittr becomes available to Wal-Mart® stores nationwide in 2004, there are many questions about the differences from the newest bond machine and the Ultimate Sweater Machine (USM), what supplies and tools can be used, and where to purchase the tools.
What is the EZ Knittr?
The EZ Knittr (EZ Knitter) is the newest 8mm hand manipulated knitting machine from Bond America/Caron. This machine is very similar to the USM.
How is the EZ different than the USM?
The EZ knitter comes with two keyplates, whereas the USM comes with four. What this means to the EZ user is that they can not work the range of yarns that the USM user may work with. If you already own an EZ Knittr and would like to have the ability work with the ranges of yarns USM owners do, you can upgrade your EZ to the USM keyplates by purchasing a new keyplate set.
Where can I purchase tools & accessories for my Bond machine and which will work with my EZ?
All USM tools and accessories will work with the EZ Knittr, you can view and purchase items in the Shopping area of Knitting Today.
